During the annual press conference of the port held on Friday the 11th, Jean Marc Forneri President of the Port of Marseille Fos Supervisory Board and Christine Cabau Woehrel, Fos Chief executive officer and Chairman of the Executive Board, in the presence of Mr. Renaud Muselier, President of the PACA Regional Council and Mr. Renaud Paubelle, Director of development and member of the executive board, announced the winner of the “Osez le J1” call for projects.
The international call for projects launched in June 2017 reflected the Port of Marseille Fos strong commitment to breathe new life in the 25 500 sq. m. J1 Hangar. It is after 18 long months of unrelenting efforts, that the consortium made up of Adim IMMOBILIeR Provence, VINCI Construction, the Caisse des Dépôts et des Consignations and the Parisian architects Reichen et Robert & Associés was announced winner of the call for projects. The winning project, entitled (J1) “La Passerelle”, (the bridge) which requires a 100 million euros investment, is set to be inaugurated in 2023.
